About Me & My Campaign

About Me

My most important accomplishment has been raising my five children, three of whom grew up in the Shippensburg School District (at left fishing on Youth Trout Day at Laurel Lake). All have attended public school, and safe quality education is an important part of my platform.

I have over 30 years experience in environmental health and safety, working in higher education, heavy industry, and in manufacturing. My family all love the outdoors and I am an avid hunter and fisherman.

My Platform

The state must invest additional funding in public education to reduce pressure on local property taxes to fund school districts and ensure that schools in the 193rd have the resources they need to provide every student with a strong foundation and a chance for a bright future.

In addition, the state legislature must ensure that tuition paid ot cyber charter schools aligns with the cost of an online education. We cannot afford to continue to send excess tax dollars to cyber charters that to be wasted on advertising, lavish CEO salaries, excessive fees to for-profit management companies and other things unrelalted to educating our local students.

I would seek legislation to clock or place extreme limits on future data center installations to protect our environment, health, and wallets.

I love the outdoors and this campaign will reflect my passion for hunting and fishing. We all deserve to live in a place that we can afford, where we can feel safe, and where deer season starts on a Monday.
